My fellow Lipstick.com beauty scribe Beth has shared her holiday 2014 beauty wish list with Santa and all of you, and now it's my turn: Here are the hair, skin, and makeup items that would make me as giddy as a four year old girl unwrapping Snow Glow Elsa.
It seems like this multi-tasking radiance/bone-structure booster is mentioned in every single celebrity makeup how-to I post here lately—so, obviously, I'm now dying to have it for myself.
As a skincare obsessive who's 5 months pregnant (yes, I'm expecting my third—surprise!), I've been testing less chemical-laden alternatives to some of my usual must-have potions. And I've already developed an unhealthy obsession with this healthy made-in-Vermont brand—I think they had me at the rustic-glam green glass packaging. I'm already dreading running out of this serum, which is keeping my oversensitive skin drenched in hydration but not synthetic ingredients or artificial fragrances. So let's go ahead and add a refill to my list for Santa. And stay tuned for my crazy-comprehensive roundup of the best beauty products for use during pregnancy!
I consider myself a connoisseur of fine heat-styling appliances—having been unable to leave the house with air-dried hair ever, in my entire life, thanks to frizzy flyaway texture—yet I'm sorry to say I do not own what's considered to be the pinnacle of blow dryer perfection (even celebs are excited to score one—see Kate Bosworth, above). I've gotten to experience it at fancy salons, though, and am convinced it's the dryer of my dreams: super lightweight and speedy, with an abbreviated length to make DIY blowouts less of a pain in the arm. For more on why it's worth $300, check out our full infographic on the subject. Meanwhile, the DryBar 3-Day Bender curling iron is also tempting me, in large part based on its adorable name and appearance.
Regular readers of Lipstick.com know that subtly twinkling eyeliner is the one makeup item I think every girl should own this holiday season—and there's probably no brand that does subtle, sophisticated sparkle better than Bobbi Brown. When I go out at night lately, I've been using their Highlight Powder in Pink Glow, which just gives the best, finely milled sheen ever. Oh how I'd love to wear this liner on New Year's Eve; it comes in the prettiest neutral shades.

I have trouble committing to a fragrance—even deciding which one to choose in a store. I just get overstimulated too easily, and I also fall in love too easily with charming packaging or descriptions, which clouds my judgment further. That's why I love sampler sets that let me take my time experiencing new fragrances over the course of days and weeks, and this one is just too lovely (and my style—such charming packaging!) to resist.
