I'm fascinated by how the world's most gorgeous women approach a workout, beauty-wise. My routine is as simple as wearing whatever makeup I've got on and twisting my hair into a bun, but what if there's a sex-bomb secret that could change everything? Model Nina Agdal shared last year's Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover with Chrissy Teigen and Lily Aldridge, and now, in advance of Wildfox's LeSutra Model Beach Volleyball Tournament, she spilled the beans on her gym beauty.
Glamour: What sort of makeup do you wear to the gym?
Nina Agdal: When I work out in the morning, I go bare-faced. I do spinning, and it's dark in there anyway, so no one sees you. If it's after work, I remove whatever's on my skin from the day. For me, working out is to zone out and just be you. Who cares what you look like?
Glamour: After a workout, what's your hair and makeup routine like?
NA: I don't wash my hair unless I have to—if I spin, I have to. Otherwise, I can go days without washing it. I just put dry shampoo in the roots or throw on a snap-back [baseball cap]. I make sure I don't have mascara everywhere from sweating, but besides that I don't care much.
Glamour: What beauty product do you always have in your gym bag?
NA: Facial wipes to take off makeup and rosewater.
Glamour: If you're going to be active on the beach and your hair will be getting wet, how do you make it look sexy or purposeful?
NA: Mine dries really well with salt water. It creates a great texture. If you want to look cute, I'd put it in a messy braid or just a simple ponytail. I love a snap-back on backward though. It's my go-to.
Along with the model volleyball, Nina's leading a SuperSweat Redbike spinning session in Miami with tickets benefiting a South Florida youth charity. Find info (or sign up to spin!) here.
